Aerial tramway...view from 8,516Ft.We road tripped to Palm Springs, once known as the "Playground of the Stars". It is a beautiful resort style city. The temperature was 81 degrees which was a relief from San Jose rains. We visited the air museum and saw a collection of propeller-driven World War II aircrafts. We took the aerial tramway up the cliff of chino canyon to the Mountain Station at 8,516 ft. It is the world's largest rotating tramcar.
